Yes. We regularly take over maintenance and monitoring on systems installed by other companies. We'll survey the existing system first to make sure it's in good working order before taking it on.

Do I need a fire alarm system, or is a smoke detector enough?

It depends on the size, use and layout of your building. Larger commercial premises, multi-occupancy buildings, and sites with vulnerable occupants typically need a proper fire alarm system rather than standalone detectors. A fire risk assessment will tell you what's actually required for your building.

Do you work on both new installations and existing systems?

Both. Whether you need a new system designed and fitted from scratch, or ongoing maintenance and repairs on an existing one, it's the same team either way.

How long does an installation take?

It depends entirely on the size of the site and the system being installed. We'll give you a realistic timeframe as part of your quote, after a proper site survey, not a generic estimate before we've seen the building.

Most commercial fire alarm systems need servicing at least twice a year to stay compliant, though the right interval depends on the system type and how the building is used. We'll confirm a servicing schedule as part of your installation or when we take over maintenance of an existing system.
